Default which IM is interchangeble with the CX IM?

my friend just got a 92' CX a few days ago, and he wants a new IM and TB, because the one he has right now is freaky tiny! so what other intake manifolds and TB will bolt right onto a stock CX head?

A d16z6 intake manifold is your best bet. A good upgrade that is easy to find and is usually cheap. Consider new exhaust piping as well unless you want the stock cx ***** piping....

get a y8 manifold and matchport it to a b16 throttle body but make sure you get a header and catback exhaust too

yes... with all those mods, you could be pumping out 60 whp!!! the only mods worth doing to CX motor would be a mini, nitrous or turbo

Why not just save a little more and buy a D16z6 (VTEC )I got mine for 400+100 for comp.....
The motors are fairly cheap & The 92 cx is prewired for vtec..
All you will need is the z6 motor, engine harness & P28 comp.....plugs right in.....i did it to my old 92 cx....took a few hours in my driveway...very simple
