best intake for a cx?
I've been looking around online, but I can't seem to find many cold air intakes for a cx. Plenty for dx, si, lx etc.
I found a few.
Iceman
Pilot Motorsports
toucan
Any one know how these are or can suggest a good intake to get for the cx?
thanks.

Iceman intakes are supposed to be kickass, but I don't think it's worth it. Is the CX the model that has the intake manifold that points up?
Iceman starts at about 300, correct? If so I would reccomend doing a motor swap instead of getting an intake. You could pick up a complete D16Z6 swap for less than 500, that's motor, tranny, harness, ECU, ect.

This is no 'kickass' intake. All CAI are the same, as are SRI.
-Ebay Intake Arm.
-K&N Filter.

I would also recommend this.
If you're set on getting a cold air intake, realize that they are all pretty much exactly the same. Even the cheap Ebay ones will do the same as an Iceman/AEM one. The filter is the one that makes the most difference.
Out of the ones you looked at, I would just get the cheapest one. Try to get your hands on a good filter too.

I couldn't agree with this more. Anyone who spends more than 5 dollars on an intake arm, and the price of a K&N filter deserves to be bent over and fucked in the ***.

what he said, but seriously, why spend any money modding that engine, just swap in a d16Z6, they're what 127 horses? something, but you'll have like 71 to the wheels instead of the 69.5 you have now.
either go fast or go mileage or waste money

yo bro...i agree with everybody else but...if you want one...just get a cheap ebay one...its not going to do much but you do feel a little more pull...i have a d-16y8 in my 99 coupe and just kept the stock air box with k&n drop in filter with no resonator...

I wish everyone would understand the concept that ALL INTAKES ARE THE SAME!

Re: best intake for a cx? (litterbox)
well man the best intake would be from a new motor swap. i tried all kinds of ghetto intakes from cai to sri the car still went nowhere only sounded louder. trust me go with a b series swap or the d16 swap. this motor is useless except for the block for mini swaps.
