DIY shaved trunk lock
i bought my car as a project and it was missing things. one of those was the lock for the trunk/tailgate whatever you want to call it. Im gonna be painting it myself and would rather just fill the hole. Whats the best way to go about doing this. i filled the emblem holes with this spackle like stuff i got from my work which is used on hulls of boats and it worked well but this hole is bigger so i dont think its the best solution. or, since i dont care about having a functional lock, how hard would it be to just get a lock from a junkyard and stick it in? i havent actually looked at how the lock goes in and i dont have my car right now so i cant go out and look. oh and its a 95 cx hatch
