i'm currently running a 7lb wheel, most ppl say its too light for street use... but i have yet to run into any trouble with it, however most will tell you to run with a 10-12 lb wheel, and i do happen to have a 12 lb ACT flywheel for sale from a 90-91 d series engine...

12lb ACT streetlite

with ACT extreme clutch

pulls hard as **** only down fall is the release bearing it snap the clamps in about 5000 miles or so I think

will post a pick only one side or the clamp was holding the bearing to the transmission

but by sides that hella great launches

lol seems like every other post someone gives advice then has that part for sale, not criticizing you just find it funny how many threads i've read with that in them.

On topic...I drove a friends car with a 12 lb flywheel (act streetlite) and i liked it so thats what I bought. It's really preference but it seems that once someone gets a lighter flywheel they want something even lighter next time around.

Its not a d-series, but im running a type r 12lb flywheel.
I think honda had it right with the type r. 10-12lbs is just
light enough to show improvement, without sacrificing any
drivability.
