Just got he AK back
my car was down for a couple weeks. it got a valve jobs & adjustments new timing belt put in some skunk 2 springs(dual sprin conversion 
) and a oil change. now the teg feels like a whole new car!! its way faster 
the car drives smoother, accelarates faster and redlines at 8,000 rpm now. it could probably go to 9,000 but the damn MSD6 only comes with the 8,000 pill as the highest. oh well im happy

It wouldn't make power to 9K rpm, unless you change the intake manifold, camshafts, use adjustable cam gears, and tune it w/ some sort of computer like Hondata or V-AFC.
*edit* damn an LS revving to 8K w/ only dual valve springs? not good...
