Default possible hydrolock aftershock

ok so i did what everyone else did and drove through a HUGE puddle and the engine died. i tried startin it up to no avail. it would try to crank but wouln't even crank so i got it towed to my moms mechanic/friend. he just yanked the plugs and cranked it till the water shot out and it runs fine... almost. when i am just sittin there idling it vibrates a lil bit more than it should. it vibrates it waves, like someone is tapping you. my question is could this mean i have a slightly bent rod? i drove it home no problem just kept it in low RPMs until i got home. i am gonna go change the oil now. so do you guys think it is a bent rod? maybe a bent valve? i mean really really slightly bent just enough that it runs fine but gives off more vibration.

thanks

no i didn't change the oil i only drove it for like a half hour, but the oil is sooooo beat! i got lucky i even made it home! im letting it drain a lot before i dump more oil in!

another question... it it alright to pour 20w-50 in there and run it a bit and then change the oil again to hopefully flush it more? im asking 20w50 b/c that is what i have layin around, i do have my 4 quarts of 10w30 but i would change the oil again for that after i let it run to flush it out some. so will that even flush it out since it is a heavier oil?

sometimes when i have oil to spare, i leave the drain open between the oil change and just put oil in and let it spill out the other end.

alright oil change is done! i can still rev up high and hit vtec and everything, but when i idle i idle at around 600 rpms instead of like 1000 (like it was b4 the whole mess) do you guys think i should be concerned about this? could it be idling lower b/c of water damage to wires or anything else?? thanks again!
