Default Fuel Pump Hooked up to Sensors etc?

Okay, I've just got a really quick question. If your battery were hooked up and your fuel pump plugged in would the pump prime when you turn the car to ACC without any of the engine sensors being hooked up?

I looked at the wiring and it didn't look like any sensors had to be hooked up for the fuel pump to prime. None of the sensors in my car are hooked up and I'm wondering if that is why or if I need a new pump. Thanks.

i'm pretty sure the sensors have to be hooked up. i am 75% sure the other engine sensors have to be hooked up.
