Default how my motor is running with new turbo kit

so after all these months of doing head/block work and turbo charging my gsr, i finally drove it. i drove down a stretch about half a mile long and shifted around 5k rpm each gear roughly ***breaking in the motor*** and my bov sounds like a stock eclipse or supra bov... (wooooH!) like that. I have the hks ssq bov. My ? is, isn't it supposed to sound (psssssh!) instead? hrmm do i need adjustments ??

I would check the vaccum hoses connected to the BOV. The better the vaccum source the better the sound is...

I personally wouldn't tee anything off the the FPR. It has a very small nipple going to the IM. A vacuum manifold t'ed off the brake booster is best. It has a big vacuum source and everything gets even vacuum pressure.

yeah make sure the t you used isnt cutting the airflow in either direction.. i had to use a t once because i changed a charge pipe and the hose was just a bit too short so i used that until i got to the shop.. didnt realze that the one i was using only lets air out and not in... HKS BOV sounded waaaaaay different... change the hose man
