both good ideas, but IMO stay away from the buddy club kit. they look so nice when they are clean

Spend a few hundred on front brake rotors, pads, and a set of SS brakelines.

i personally don't give a **** about what the car looks like. Rims (heavy) and **** only make the car slower; not to mention it just burns up money that could go under the hood. However you're definitely on the right track with the H22, intake, exhaust, etc. Don't add to the ricer image.

and jeez don't do upgrades unless you know what it does, or even better do the work yourself. I know I'm ranting here but for the love of god why do people pay others to do their work and then go to Jiffy Lube? Anyone can OWN a racecar, but only a real racer builds it himself.

I say spend fifty bucks and get a junk engine and have at it. Find out how that stuff works. Best and only way to learn man, that way you can do it yourself. If nothing else I'll have more respect for you! Please don't feel like I'm picking only on you, I say this to all the ricers. A rusting falling apart sleeper with a well tuned motor will shock the hell out of someone way more than a pimped out ride aka body kit, rims, wing, etc.

And there's absolutely nothing wrong with spending a few dollars on making a car look nicel. And some people either don't have the expertise to do work themselves, don't want to, or don't have the time or capacity, i.e. some of us work full time, have families and other responsibilities and can't give any extra time to working on cars thusly paying to have it done professionally.
Nice wheels and tires go a long way to making a car look nice. Body kits on the other hand can make a car look stupid as crap.

I fully agree with the "don't go ricer" concept. Nothing dumber than a riced car that sound like a continuous fart coming down the road I always laugh at these cars. However, a nicely executed modified car, any type of car, is excellent.

exavctly what i would do if i could afford to blow 7.5k...nothing like 250ish whp all motor on a FWD accord!!!.........if your definatly gonna want to make the car "look better/different", then your best bet is to color match sideskirts/molding, color match a gracer front lip (or aztec if you can find one  ) DIY mugen style front grill, and the WW style rear trunk lip........dont spend more than $150/wheel.....who cares if your wheels say rota instead of volk

How about this idea... sell the car for 3k, and now you have 10.5k to buy / down on a nice new (or used) car of your choice... RSX? 350Z? S2000 anyone? If you have any mechanical knowledge head to http://www.readytofix.com and check out their cars.. they have stuff like BMW, Mercedes, 350z, supras, etc.. buy one of their cars for cheap and fix it up to your liking.

Or.. I saw this ready built H22 turbo engine on ebay for sale.. 4.8k throw that into the accord and get a turbo kit then go show some people what the back end of a rusted accord looks like

Well, building a quick used 4 cylinder is fun, and a great hobby, but personally if I had the opportunity to buy a much nicer/quicker/newer vehicle then I'd have to go with the latter.
