ok today i did a valve adjustment on my poormans r and now its idling really low almost ready to die down. and i also changed the plugs gap them at 36 the first time thinking that was my problem then i regapped them to .38-.39 hoping that would fix the problem but it didn't. now i'm thinking that when i did the valve adjustment i made all the valves to tight and thats whats causing my bad idle. becuase usaully i would have my friend help but i did it by my self .06 intake and .07 exhaust on ctr cams
yea it sounds like you tightened them down too much, you should only feel a slight drag when doing a valve adj.. Hope that helps.
Also make sure you were at TDC on all of the pistons when you did it. and make sure you adjusted them in the correct firing order.

i did do them in the right firing order but i was just curious could over tighting them make the car idle messed up because i did the valve adjustment spark plugs all at once
i think .7 is a lil too tight. i would do .7 on intake and .9 on ex. side. I know alot of peeps that do 7and9 . in the acura tech book it says to do 6 and 8 if that helps any
