Mine are stock for now, but I've been thinking about doing the 9005 upgrade for the lowbeams sometime in the near future.
high beam bulbs modified to fit in low beam sockets
next will be taking out those lame little light blockers on the inside of the headlight housing!

i am running Philips VisionPlus Euro-spec +50% H1's in all 4 bulbs (aftermarket ricer black housing projectors
.. make fun if u want..but with these bulbs they light up much better than stock).. they are very white... not "UltraWhite" or whatever blue tinted fake HID garbage (tint = reduced light output..iridescent/ionized coating however, i am not sure)..they are much better than all the various bulbs i tried before these...
this is a good place to buy halogen bulbs
http://www.suvlights.com/
they have the yellow fog beams that you speak of (listed as "Gold/Yellow") ... but they dont have them in 9005/9006 like you probably need... they do however have the "All-Weather" style bulbs...which have the ionic coating on them to produce yellowish light... it isnt the fog light style yellow that you are probably looking for though.... it does however product light that works better when its raining or the road is a bit wet...
ebay or some other place may have the super yellow Lexus ES300 fog-style beams u are talking about...
if you want a nice lighting upgrade you can put high beam bulbs into your low beams...

Im rockin 9006 style Philips HID. Color temp is unknown, but i can tell u they are the more white than bluish/purplish. Beam pattern was actually decent when i first installed them. Then i took the car to get painted and i havent got them right since. Overall, WAY better road illumination than any non HID set up on a EF.
edit: Headlight housings are SiR.

i have the Nokya hyper whites....something like that....only the high beams are really bright other than that, dont get it...if you do modify the high beams for the low beams and you're set, then it'll be pretty freakin bright

Shaddap ya jackass! You'll be begging me for a write up with it's done!
(though it actually shouldn't blind anyone because the inside of that little light diffuser is black so all it does is absorb light inside the housing, not actually direct it.)

sylvania silverstars...high beam and low beam...i love them, the lows are not the brightest but they work and the high beams are awesome
9005 conversion.. had some bulbs my girlfriend bought me off eBay but they melted some of the passenger side plastic connectors/wires so I went back to stock 9005.
Make sure your bulbs are close wattage or at least close, mine were 100w and they melted some stuff, now that light only works some of the time.

Neither am I. Had Nokya blues in my low beams in my 91 accord and I looked at my dad...it was nighttime....i asked "are my lights on?" i flipped the switch off then back on...almost no change...switched them out to oem next day.
There's a website somewhere in my favorite links that I'll post up...regarding how blue headlights SUCK....something about the color being the worst in the lighting spectrum as far as headlights go...
