Default ls cams...

well i have a 91 integra which has 130hp

and from thinking about the 94+ integra ls's which have 140hp i came up with the

idea of using the 94 cams on my 91

do you guys think if i swap my cams for the 94 cams i'll be making more power??

i'm able to probably get the cams for free...

will it be the same for b20's?

thanx for all the help

its more than just the cams man, its the whole intake tract...

and its a 10 hp difference in power, that is regarded as alot in an all motor sense...

You would need the cams, intake mani, and minor port enlarging to get the power of the b18b. or the 92+b18a

well..what if i just get the whole 92+ b18a/b head without converting to obd1 then would i still be making power...cause if i dun't then there's no point for me to even get the head put on.

I think thats a better Idea. while the head is off portmatch and get a thin headgasket or mill the head and maybe throw some aftermarket cams as well. But with the stock cams with the portmatch and HG... 15-17hp could be reaslized with tunning... hope that helps.

The real diff. between the 2 motors was the cams and the cast iron ex. manifold, the heads are identical.

The heads are not identical. I own 3 B18B heads and a B18A, the port sizes are very different.

Its true the intake mani, and the heads are different and I believe the B18b TB is a lil bigger! I have heard that too somewhere that the newer LS's cams are more aggressive; however even if this is true I dont think it is that big of a difference! I say just get bigger cams!
