Well I just sold my 90 hatch shell and picked up a MINT 90dx crx the only reason I switched was because I always said I would get a crx if I came across a CLEAN black one anyway...... I am putting my turbo motor in this car and just purchased a roll cage for 150 shipped 8point preshaped weld in.. I am taking it to this place called Acore Welding and wanted to know what you've paid to have yours installed

Yeah that sounds about right. Just to weld in a cage, its not like he had to make it or anything. If you go to just your run of the mill shop that does welding, and you had it all positioned and all the welding area's clean etc, im sure they would lay a few beads for about that.

 

Alright very good so 275 is a good price Ill post some pics when its done

 

well the guy near me uses art morrison chromolly tubes and it runs 100bux per point

 

after readin this post $275 sounds like a good deal

 

if you are paying 500-750 just to get it welded, that is way over priced and you should think agian.

 

275 is a great price. Make sure they do some quality work and check the welds after.

This guy does all my welding for me so he gives me good prices he made me my turbo manifold from looking at the revhard manifold......and welds bike frames when they go down that i send to him also he welded a chunk back onto a b16 block that got blown off were the motor bolts to the tranny a piece about 1x1 when my friend blew his pressure plate through his tranny and the thing held mint went 12.7 on that motor untill he broke a piston ( 2 much nitrous) but yeah anyone in the NY area who needs a real good welder let me know I willl hook you up with his number
