which power steering bracket will work for a 1996 D16 (non-vtec) engine put into a 1991 EF hatch? Need to order it from Honda Parts.

FYI i think u need one from a EX cuz its a 1.6. my 1.5 power steering braket didnt fit the A6 or the Z6

 

The engine is a 1996 DX which had no power steering.... the car is a 1991 DX which had PS.... the correct bracket is from a 1991 EX?

 

if your using the 91 dx pump use the EX bracket. try to fit your old one first. ]

this is just what i THINK. but if it works let me know cuz i need one too

 

so what you're saying is you know for sure the 91 EX PS bracket will work with the 96 nonvtec engine.... I don't have a stock 91 DX PS bracket... I ordered a stock 96 PS bracket, and that doesn't fit for sure....... PLEASE CLARIFY

im saying that for your next guess the 90-91 EX bracket would be a good candidate. let me know if it works.

 

why don't u do the GUESS WORK, and let me know what happens.... I'm not a guinea pig.

Does anyone know for a fact which bracket will work for sure?
