zc question... (dohc)

Default zc question... (dohc)

this is kinda a stupid question, but what all you need to put a zc motor in a 91 civic dx hatch? i dont mean tools, do i need a new tranny? new ecu? will the old tranny bolt up to it? do i need new mounts? i know how to do the work, i just want to make sure i get all the right parts

You are correct but he will need a new ecu since his dpfi ecu can only control two injectors while the zc has four. So he will need a new ecu and also he will need to convert his wiring to run mpfi.

I am 100% positive the dpfi ecu will not work otherwise why would everyone do the mpfi swap when they swap in an mpfi engine. Running an Si(PM6) ecu will generally run the ZC a little lean.

Im special, I'm using the PG7 too, works fine on my DOHCZC &lt;~ plz refer to it as that so the SEARCH function can be used.. - Darrell
