you first post and your asking people to spend their money and get you a car fax report.... if you want the car go spend the $$$ its a good investment and then if you need to look at another one you can because paid for it.

carfax is 85% worthless information anyways....

can never be 100% sure the car hasnt been wrecked before. the only thing i got out of carfax was to prove where my car had been registered within the past few years, because it reported the registration renewals with a mileage that may not be correct.

Exactly! Due to the age of our cars, most accidents are not reported because it would cause the car to have a salvage title if the damage was significant. So most accidents are not reported so the owner can have it fixed on their own. A good example is the 91 I bought. The carfax did not report that the car had been wrecked. But after sanding it down to paint it, we found the rocker panel, half the rear quarter and drivers door had been replaced due to an accident.
