Replacing A/C compressor?
Hi guys, I'm thinking of buying a 90 Civic LX with a 1.5 and a broken A/C compressor.
I was wondering if anyof you have ever changed a compressor before. How hard was it? I am a pretty good shadetree mechanic, but the cramped quarters of the honda look pretty scary.
Does it help to remove the radiator or anyhting like that to give meyself more room down there?

I might be interested, but I'm trying to hear some opinions on how difficult it is to DIY.
If you took all of it off a car, maybe you could give me some guidence.
How much are you asking for everything?

I can't really give you any guidence on taking it out, because I took it out when I did my DOHC ZC swap so eveything was out of the way. I'll let everything go for 250 shipped.
i have replaced the a/c compressor on my 1991 Si. It is pretty easy, All I remember was taking out the 4 mounting bolts and disoconnecting the 2 inlet/outlet a/c pipes and slipping off the belt. It can be done in about an hour.
