car is running like poo poo.
Ok 91 si, Jdm H22 I,E. I've been having some problems starting the car....It turns over and sometimes gives a sputter but dosent like to start (it does this ONLY some of the time).
Today the bastard died and I left it on the side of the road (so it could think about how bad it's being) and came back like 2 hrs later started right up.
Driving it home, at mid throttel it would sputter and bog kinda bad (wide open though it would work fine). Also exhaust or something in engine bay smells bad almost like a wire being fired but not exactly. And the oil sorta smells like gas.
Any help on this? I was thinking fuel pump, but the strange smell has me thinking cat or god knows what. Thanks and sorry so long.

yes intake temp and 02 but they've been on for a while and didn't have this issue. I have the damn intake temp sensor but it's impossible to get my manly hands in there...lol
i promise u its the main relay honda has had a problem with it for ever over time they become cracked or loose u can go get them fixed or u can go out and do what i did buy a new one for 50 bucks and not worry about it anymore but this is your problem i am almost positive get it checked out

Doesn't sound like the main relay. That happens when it is hot and is more of a starting issue. They also usually stop doing it after your car is stopped for more than 15 min. The main relays are more for older honda's so I wouldn't rule it out.
If you want to try to fix it, open it up (easy) and melt all of the solder points with a soldering gun (100/120W). That will fix the problem if it is the main relay.
It sounds like your CEL is right. O2 Sensor would cause this problem as it is not reading the numbers right and not giving you the right Fuel/Air Mixture.

I don't think it's your fuel pump.
those very seldomly go out but then again
it might be working too hard supplying enough fuel
for those 345cc injectors.
What about your fuel filter?
Start with the simple stuff first.

fuel filter is fairly new...less then a year beacuse this problem has been on going (i change the filter the first time it did this) only now it's way more often and it takes longer to start, and yesterday is the first time I had the sputtering. Also when it was sputtering a couple times it would kick in and chirp the tires and take off.
Thanks alot for all the suggestions so far though.
