Anyone with Volk TE37 in 15, 16 and 17inchers can tell me the loading rate of the rim, please. It must be stamped into the inner side of the rim or you have a kind of certificate.
I need to know it, because this rim is not TUV prooven, and I need it to use the rim legal on the streets. Living in Europe sometimes sucks!
YES, a TUV-engineer must prooven my Volks for TUV specs, that costs about 150 dollars. We live in one pretty crazy world!!!!!!

My other mods are hidden. The cops don´t see the JRSC and stuff. For the exhaust, when they ask I tell the it is only a REMUS muffler (and I show him a fake REMUS certificate). But when they see rims which are not TUV prooven, they pull off the licence plate! no joke! The fenders must be 30 degrees in front and 50 degrees look over the rims. Other wise you will pay or they pull off the licence plate.
When the car is lower than 11 cm, the licence plate can get off.
and so on

Yeah I have talked to some TUV tech guys over here. They need a loading rate of any kind of proovements. Than thjey take the JWL or VIA or SAE..... and convert it to TUV. But before they convert it they do wierd stuff to the rim. Some special lubrication will be sprayd on the wheels and then they look for material and other stuff under the electronic microscope.
I´m not kidding. It costs me about 150USD to get a TUV for the rim and another 200USD to get it legal for my R. You know, they must look if the rim does not rub or anything. And the fender must cover the rim. 50 degrees to the rear and 30 degs to the front. Measured from the center of the rim.
again......I´m not kidding

All this for a rim...what if you just put them on and don't do anything? Will they know to look for a Volk rim because it is not TUV approved? Sounds a bit stringent!

Insurance problems! Very bad when peeps are hurted from an accident. When I have a inspection by cops, they want to see the certification from the government, that this rims are TUV prooven and okay for the Integra type-R.........Hell, 2 month agpo I had troubles for my STOCK R-wing! They don´t believed me, that this wing is stock and I had some troubles........It is under work on the government now (I should pay 200USD for rear wing)
When I would have a aftermarket wing without certification.............it is not allowed to have............pay $$$
I could post 10 pages with things better not to do in Europe on cars.

Hey Christian, I'm not exactly sure what a TUV rating is, but my 16x7 TE37's have these #'s stamped in the inside: VIA 690kg, and 5x100 505kg. IM me if you can tell me what I need to look for.

Okay, thanks very much guys!
I must talk to the TUV tech again, but I think the rims are strong enough.
The max. loading rate of the ITR is about 1500 kg I think. That means one rim need a loading rate about 450kg to be safe.
