how big of a difference? honda parts vs autozone parts
ok my problem is i have oil in my spark plugs (i've found out it's valve cover rings) so now i need to get a valve cover gasket set. of course its sunday so i cant get parts from honda but i want to to this today(sunday) so how much of a difference is autozone gasket kit vs. honda gasket kit???? and yes i know honda should be better but by how much?

pretty much. i still buy oil pumps and timing belts from honda/acura dealers. but everything else its the same just price differences. i've seen just as much genuine honda stuff go bad as autozone stuff, but both rarely happen

I got a valve cover gasket kit from kragen/autozone before. It was fine.
I can see buying stuff like piston rings/oil pumps/timing belts/head gaskets from the dealer, but for little rubber seals and stuff, I have a hard time going to the dealer, especially since I know they probably wont have it in stock and it wont be here for 2 more days.
Maybe its just cause I hate the dealerships here. I'm 19 and I know more about the cars and parts than anybody working there.
