buddy club spec 3 or jdm type r cams
I was researching cams and it seems like the bc3's are the better cam but for some reason the jdm itr's are more expensive. Does anyone have any experience with the new spec 3's yet and will they work with a stock bottom end on my gsr. I do plan to upgrade valves,springs, and piston (possibly p30?) when i eventually get cams. This will also be my daily driver. Which do you recomend.
These cams can be used on a stock GSR and still run perfectly fine. You'll be happy with the results. If you have any other questions please let me know and I'll be more than happy to help you out.

b/c they're jDm y0!!!
but seriously the bc's consistently kick the itr an ctr's butt, and there's plenty of dyno sheets to prove it.

i agree, i think way to many people wind up putting big cams in motors that dont need them, look how many people put in skunk stage2's or jun3s with mild set up motors and only make 175-185
i was able to make almost 200hp on ITR cams and i would be willing to bet that my midrange is higher then if i had bigger cams
for mild setup cars ITR cams are great, their reliable fairly cheap and make good power
for high compression motors(12.1+) and 2.0L then big cams are definitely necessary
