FF Cornering / Road Racing technique
Ive already searched.. I'm looking into good cornering and road racing driving advice and techniques with a FF vehicle? I thought this would be the best place to ask.
Is it true with an FF vehicle, while entering a corner at high speed it helps to stabilize the car if you brake with the left foot while keeping right foot on gas? It transfers weight to front wheels and helps to grip the turn?

"WARNING" do not try that at home, because you might end up in the ditch, first what i would do is do a little reading (hell your not going to learn **** from reading) but you actually have to put your car on the track and feel it. As you read and pratice look back on the mistakes and make sure you talk to alot of instructors because they will give you alot of good advice, about the left on brake and right foot on gas i did that before but its dangerous learn how to control your car first before you start going fast on corners.
Left foot braking is certainly a viable tool used in the right place. I would hardly call it "dangerous" although certain drivers who do it (especially poorly) might be. There are quite a few situations where changing your driving style or even your line for an FF car will be faster. I have mentioned it before, but I found the out of print "Front Wheel Drive Advantage" by Jack Doo (sometimes can be found used on-line) to be quite helpful to explain so changes in driving style.
Learn some new approaches, practive and experience them and there are a number of advantages to be gained over a traditional or seat of the pants driving line.

Can you explain "seat of the pants driving line?", Any new approaches I should try out?
Is the ebrake a good tool when cornering at high speed?

A line that you might take by just going out and doing it, without necessarily giving it a great deal of consideration of values of corners, particular goals, etc. Most of the general driving that one does on the street.

Lots, do your homework, get some lessons, learn in a controlled environment. There are all kinds of techniques out there with merit.

No, that would be an extremely bad idea unless you are playing around in a parking lot in the snow, and sometuimes bad then. Do some research and find out what real left foot braking is supposed to do and how it is done. Don't just go around stabbing the brake pedal with the left foot. That is not the process being bad, it is the driver being bad.
