Mpfi 1/4 time...
Woohoo, went to the track today. My best was 16.1 with the setup I have down below in my signature. Just kinda happy with it and wanted to share with all of you guys. The condition was shitty, 66 degrees and there was a light rainfall here and there. I paid $35 bucks to get 3 time trials and a shitty pity trophy for an early cancel. I'll post the timeslip soon. And feel free to post your Mpfi times also, I just want to compare with you other guys out there (pretty sure there aren't that many of us).
i ran a 17.37 in my 91' 4door lx with a d16y7 with the old dpfi from the d15 with just a intake and header. wonder what it run with my new custom coldair and when i do the mpfi swap...
Alright, went yet another time to the 1/4 track. Got back today with a 16.082sec at 84.55mph full interior (I took out all my seats last time, and that was a waste of time, damn ricer mentality I have
). I'm pretty happy with my time. It was a nice day out today, around 80degrees. I'm on the right and on the left was an older Neon (most likely the sohc).
My setup is:
'91 Civic Dx 4door
tired d15b2 w/180k mi
mpfi swap
'88 si camshaft
pg7 ecu
si tranny
hp racing header
14" steelies w/Yokohama Avids at 20psi
Here's my timeslip:
