Default TIME SLIPS 1/8

Anyone got time slips from 1/8 runs? Closest track to me is only 1/8. Plus it's easier for me to test and tune from short runs like that.

ANYWAY. Got my B20b GSR Tranny. Stock everything pretty much in my heavy *** 3300+ probably another 400 lbs with me and subs and everything.

Before I post time. Don't want ppl to laugh. Interested to see if anyone else has civics and 1/8 times they wanna post. With car stats that is.

I actually don't care. I only raced 4 times. Got the same time 3 of the 4. One of the times slipped outta first gear somehow.

Anyway getting the same time 3 out of 3 normal runs. Must mean i'm driving my car to best of both our abilities.

Reaction time of .7 to 1 which could be worked on a little. Best i've seen so far was .505 or something like that.

ANYWAY. I run 1/8 in 10.8 Pretty slow considering some POS gto's were hittin mid 7's. LoL. GTO... Garbage truck with turbo.

your civic doesn't weigh 3300lbs if thats what you tried to say. More like 2500 with your subs and you in it. Unless you have like 10 15"s or something. lol.

But how the hell did you run a 10.8?? Not laughing, just concerned. Does your car seem like it's running ok? You should be high 9's easy with a b20 i a civ.

Well car says 3300 in the door pannel. It's a 97 Civic 4D ... thats 4 doors lol. My subs and box weigh about 75 lbs. 2 12's. with HUGE magents. I weight about 175. 6'2. So yeah. Car weighs around 3500lbs. Thats a tun .

Donno if my car is running right. It seems to pickup speed quickly and go. Appears to run smooth. Think timing might be a little of. Had vacuume leak when we timed it. Which is fixed now.

Yeah 10.8 is pretty slow for 1/8 i guess. But this is Non vtec motor. No turbo. Stock manifold. Stock everything. Just slapped it into a 4D civic. With GSR tranny.

Don't laugh at my 4D either. I get more use outta haulin my friends around and they are glad i have those extra doors to get in an outta car.

Wasn't gonna do anything to the car. But when clutch and tranny went out at same time. And honda wanted about as much as new tranny and engine + clutch costed from my local import shop. Said screw it. Build B20 in my 4D and swap it into somethin else later.

the weight in the door jam is the max weight your car is rated to carry not its actual curb weight

i dunno the actual number but i doubt its over 2500 lbs

9.99 @ 71.37 if i remember correctly. 2.43 60' time on 80 degree muggy august night last year. 1992 GSR with AEM Short Ram/Thermal Cat back and 92,000 miles and 195/60-14 Kelly Chargers on stock wheels with very bad camber. Did much better in the 1/4 mile then 1/8th. B17 in a heavier car takes a while to get going.

94 Integra? Non turbo. Running 7's? Think someone is full of ****. You didn't list any specs for your car so.... Anything is possible. But to run 11's in the 1/4. You either have a TUN Of money invested. Or... have a wild imagination
