Default parking light problem. pls help.

car is a 90 integra GS 4 door. today i was trying to fix one of the reverse lights cuz it wasn't working but didn't have success. the bulb was fine. i even tried hooking it up straight to the transmission harness. no luck. the pass side reverse light works though.

thats a problem i can fix some other time. so i went in the car and tried starting the engine but no luck. the ABS main relay fuse was blown. so i went to get another fuse. fixed it, but my parking lights don't work when i turn the key to position 2. if the key is on position 1 it goes on. this the first time this happened to me so i'm stumped.

can someone pls help me?

they are more commonly refered to as parking lights, I think thats the actual correct name and includes all the exterior lights that come on when you switch the light switch to the first position. But most people on here use the term corner lights more because thats all they care about.... where to do this and get that for their clear corners.

As for the orignal poster's problem, you sound like somebody who didn't know what they were doing messed with your car's wiring before. I don't think anybody is giving you any help because you have a unique problem to your car, there is no quick fix. You gotta trace the wires, and thats a pain.

all i was doing is hooking up the yellow wire (from the trans reverse harness) straight to the reverse light on the driver side taillight but when that didn't work i just put everything back the way they were

why would the parking lights (corner lights) turn off when the key is in position 2? is there a relay or something that i might've blew?

i mean the headlights work, interior lights work, and brake lights work

man i gotta headache
