Default What does SiR Mean vs EX?

I have a automatic 1994 Accord EX. I just bought a 1996 2 door Accord Manual Shift EX, But on the trunk saids its a SiR. What does SiR mean and is this a good thing or a bad thing? Thanks for you help from a first time user of the forums.

Like he said, most likely a decal/JDM emblem. In Japan it's the 200 hp (H22A) powered accord. Shitty fact is they're made here in the grand ol' USA but are only available in Japan

SiR was a H22 (DOHC VTEC prelude motor) equppied accord from japan........basically, some ricer decided to be cool, and put "SiR" badges on the rear of the car.....why??.....so he could try to impress his friends....

this is unless of course you have an h22 already under your hood

funny yet true.....like most 5th gen accords, SiR's were built in america....right alongside our trust EX, LX, and Dx's

Check the engine code. Probably an F22, but who knows might be an H22.
