console wires...HELP

Default console wires...HELP

I got the integ console installed today... there is plug with wires comming from the cig lighter and the ash tray...does anyone know where to connect this? can i just get the other end from a junk yard and wire it up...cuz my old console didnt have a cig lighter? Please help

i just cut that off and ran a hot wire and a ground wire for the cig lighter cuz mine didn't come with one either

how did that work for u? i also got wires running to the ashtray next to the cig lighter..what are those for...light inside tray?

it works fine, i just grounded off the cig lighter and just ran a hot wire to the battery, works good, but there is no light around it at night when you turn on your lights, i didn't hook up my ashtray light either, i don't really use the ashtray, so i didn't spend the time to do that

i dont use the ashtray either...normally just for added storage...so there is a light on the cig lighter?

just because the car didn't come with a cigarette lighter, doesn't mean it wasn't wired for one.
I have a '91 Std hatch (no lighter) and I connected my lighter up fine. The connector is behind the console. No mods were done, just plug and play. And YEAH it does work.

if I remember correctly, its been over a year, it was on/near the passenger side behind the orig. console. You can't miss it. My civic plug was the same color as the integra. Its there unless your harness was cut.
