B16 overheating
As of last week my b16 keeps overheating. If you let the car warm up it sits a little below the ½ way point of my temp gauge. As soon as I start to drive it, in about 30 seconds my temp is at H or past. At first I thought it was my radiator cap loosing pressure, but found out that wasn't the case when a new one was installed. I then checked my oil. Didn't think this would be the problem but it was a little low - I added about a quart and it was on max so I stopped. Turned on my car and it the temp was down a lot. Ran it again and drove down the street. Sure enough all the way to H again. I read up and found that a lot of overheating is caused by the thermostat. Any advice
? My other ideas were a bad water pump, or a radiator problem. I checked for leaks and couldn't find any. But I'll check it again just to be sure.
Also, if it is the thermostat, where do I go abouts getting one. Should they have one stocked at a local auto parts store?

NVM guys found the problem. Ran some tests again and found out that I have a chip in my radiator and fluid is leaking
. Turns out that the fluid was going flowing down the left side of my crossmember to the wheels. That's why I couldn't find the leak, lol. Well new radiator as soon as I acquire sufficient funds
, until then I'll just keep a just of 50/50 in my trunk. The leak isn't big so I just won't drive it hard and make sure to add coolant before I go anywhere.
