OBDII TB on OBD I GSR?

Can you use a obd 2 tb on a obd1 gsr to get rid of the fat idle valve?

yes, i sold mine to friend with an obd1 LS works just fine so it will also work on the obd1 GSR...

cool whats the purpose of the FIV ? i noticed they eliminated them in the OBDII years.
