Default Catalytic Converter Help

I have a 98 Accord 4dr LX 4cly engine. I need a new cat converter. Now I've been searching but the only place that has one that will work on CA cars is from Honda direct for like $450. I see some on ebay for as low as $99 but I'm wondering what you guys have done when needing to replace this, or to go with a better flowing one. I dont really need anything fancy just something that will work so I can get it smoged.

Thanks

Random technology is the most expensive, but they claim a lot of stuff with it. Personally i'd go wiht Carsound or Catco high flow models.

However, I have a turbo car and being the emissions friendly bastard that I am, i'm running an extra long downpipe that bolts up to the cat back exhaust cheeky cheeky.

Now as soon as i can get the damn car out of the SHOP i'll be able to tell you how much i widen the gap in the ozone layer.

Honestly the reason i'm doing this right now is because i dont have the money to get a high flow cat. Pollution is BAD. very BAD.

high flow cats are overated........unless your running a header w/ a 2.5" collector to a similary length catback piping, its not gonna give you much.....just get a testpipe and weld in a bung w/ an o2 simulator
