Im getting my new greddy Evo2 in this week and was wondering what would yield more performance; high flow cat or no cat /w a test pipe?My car is a 98 S.

Thanks for your time

Get a highflow cat - you'll definately be able to tell the difference. I have the EVO(non stainless)......i could definately tell that the flow was just so much better. Seriously - it sounds great also. Can't wait till you get it - report back with some feedback for everyone else.

Don't know - hmm......i don't have a high flow cat right now - i'm getting ready to buy one. I guess just look around. A high flow cat is a high flow cat - so don't get anything too expensive.

Magnaflow is a good one. I just bought a 2.5" universal off of ebay for $104 shipped. I'll see if I can find the seller's name.

EDIT: Seller is elpasonomad

up pipes and downpipes are for turbo'd cars... it diverts the exhaust to the turbo and away from the turbo..sometimes people refer to the bottom half of the two piece header as a downpipe too..
