Will a D16z6 directly bolt into the 90 civic si HB?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but yes it should, however you'll need to switch to OBD1. Unless you want to be ghetto about it.

i recently had a d16z6 installed in my hatch

everything bolts up except the driver side mount you have to use the mount from ur old engine

in order to activate vtec u have 2 choices

1. convert to obd1 using a jumper harness (thats what i did) it involves using the correct ecu/obd1 dizzy/o2 sensor

2. use ur obd0 and use a vtec controller to activate ur vtec

anyways yes it will.
u gotta use ur stock engine motor mounts in it.. and i even mean the bracket from the driver side that bolts to the engine block
