h22a swap into 92 prelude "s"
I have a 92 "s" lude w/ 125,000 on it now and it's running ok. I want something w/ more kick, How do I go about doing this? I've heard that it'll be a straight forward swap, but what should I keep from old swap/what do I need? What ecu, and engine company do you reccomend? How can I keep costs down, and finally if you have time please decribe the install(especially any hard spots). Thanks sssooo much,

Hey,i did my h22 swap into my 92 lude with 98K pretty easily.Bolted right in...had to do some obd-2 wiring over...modify and extend a couple wires for some sensors....and add Vtec.Since ARD fucked me over and gave me a messed up P13 prelude vtec ecu....i used my stock one which was chipped anyhow and ran a vtec controller off it.Car runs like a champ and is for sale in Chicago. Its got neuspeed springs,dc header,2 1/4 in. piping on a stock muffler, cold air intake,60 shot(never used),v-afc,dinan chipped ecu,act clutch/jun flywheel, aem fuel rail, aem fuel pressure riser, and fuel pressure gauge.Im selling the car for around 5k.I've got to get rid of it pretty bad.
