Save up and get a complete Coilover. Well worth the money and you dont have to hassle later down the road after your stock shocks blow and you have to spend more cash on new ones.

Get Tein, I have the Tein Flex and they are well worth the cash.

Just lowering springs won't improve handling.

If you go too lower you'll need a camber kit also.

Your best bet to lower the car is not to be cheap and do everything. The stock suspension is weak so you might as well redo it all.

Hotchkis sells their tvs (total vehicle system) for the rsx and it comes with every thing you need for about $1200. The cost of just tien coilovers or dampers is only a little less.

This kit includes all of the Hotchkis goodies: coilover kit, coil springs, swaybar kit, front camber plates/strut brace, and rear camber links.

This will drop you car like 2.25'' you'll be able to blast through corners.

are there any other kits (possibly adjustable) that will have a 1.75 to 2.0 drop? anything more seems a little much for me, but let me know if it's ok. i live in the midwest and are winters are rough. my rsx is my daily driver so i don't want to go too low.

Look into Tein Basic suspension. It is a complete coilover system but it is NOT damper adjustable. It cost around 500-700 but it is well worth the cash. It is ride height adjustable.
