Default Question about Progress springs.......

How many of you run them? I won't have enough money to get aftermarket shocks at the same time.......I'm getting either these used ($75) or used H&R Race ($90)......i know you guys would probably tell me H&R, but I'm on a seriously tight budget. Let me know on your thoughts.........Keep the flaming and cussing to a minimum PLEASE! I'm not here to be flamed, I started posting to get USEFUL info......Thanks

Go w/ the H&R, you get what you pay for. I would personally go w/ either Eibachs(work very excellent on Accords) or Neuspeeds.

Yeah, trust me I feel your pain. Best bet is to look on ebay or groupbuycentter.com, hell even try thepartstrader.com

Don't buy them just to buy them, know what kind of ride they are going to give you, chances are they might be too bumpy so do your research and in the time being save up a few more bucks. How low of a drop are these springs going to give you? If it's more severe than 1.5" inches, chances are you will need a camber correction kit or else your tires will wear inside out, and that'll shorten the life of your tires, which in the end will be more expensive. Find out how much it will cost to install, all that stuff, don't rush it is my advice!

MMMM man, definte camber correction kit needed. That's going to run you at least another $150 unless you can get one used. Just letting you aware of the extra costs that you might not be seeing, but they are there.

if your camber goes below -2 you will need the correction kit, above that you will be ok, just get the car aligned and the toe set to Zero

i have heard from multiple sources that progress springs are very cheap, hence the price.

If the Groundcontrol/Eibach kit I'm currently in the process of installing makes me happy I'll have a set of very nice H&R Sport springs to sell.
