Well a bunch of us are going to be at Infineon Raceway aka Sears Point. I am not sure if there is already a thread about it, but I figured that this would b e a good way to meet new itr folk and to get you newbies on track.

The car wasn't meant to sit in a garage and pimp around, it was meant to be on a road course. So everyone come out so we can socialize!

My car will not be ready til the next event, but me and Austin should be there to root for you guys. I also wouldn't mind some ride along time lol. But either way I will be there to assist in any way possible.

I am wondering where the walls are located?

My car tends to like to go near walls so I just want to make sure lol.

 

no walls, but there are steep banks on either side of the straight near the beginning of it.

This is a NASA event. Sorry for forgetting to put that. So it will be a very safe event and the instructors will not be as ****-ish as they are with some other clubs.

After hearing about some other clubs Nasa seems to help u learn the most. They won't give you one of those two offs and you are done routines like some of the other more strict clubs.

The usual ITR's will be there, you know the ones that went to Buttonwillow to meet up w/ the SoCal folks who never showed.

I started a thread in the Road Racing forum and some of those folks said they would be at Infineon...

 

i dont have an integra type r, but i got a civic with 5lug.. does that count?

ill be there with the rest of the Redstone Motors crew.. (2 red eg's, 1 white gsr)

hopefully ill have my brake ducks completed by then.

September 11-12, Infineon Raceway:
Racers- now is the time to sign up. The event is two weeks away!
Don’t wait! The HPDE is full in all groups on both days, except for a
few more slots in Group 1/2 on Sunday. There’s lot of people on the
waiting list. Now is also a good time to start thinking about the
October and November events. Limited number of HPDE Groups will make
these fill quickly. Sign up here.

This event will be run on the “Short 7” configuration

The event
also includes Hyper Fest and US Drift Nationals using Turn 7! Click

whats up guys, ill be there both days of hyper fest. pitargue whats up man? are the rest of the guys gona be there that i met at willowsprings? i got something new for those evo's too, i should be running them down.

Yeah, NewR, BenR, Art V and I will be there. And we will be graced by Iggy on the track as well. JrdItrSpoon and Austin will be spectating. Others will be there according to the thread in the road racing/autocross board. Hopefully The Punk and GSRgirl will be there w/ the Honda-Tech banner so we can all congregate in one place. Otherwise look for the ITR's in one place like last time.

From the looks of it, it will be busy that day. Should be fun.
