questions about H23 and B18b....plz help

Default questions about H23 and B18b....plz help

would a H18b fit in a honda prelude?....if do....my friend goin to let me have a H18b 5 speed from his car to put in my 92prelude..to replace my high milege H23 engine....if i put turbo on the H18b would it be faster then my H23prelude?would all the pedals link up?...cuz my prelude is an automatic...thanks for your help

Never heard of an H18b, but if it exists, it certainly is gonna take a while to get your heavy car movin....

No replacement for displacement mang!

And I hope you can make mounts for it.

No its gonna suck.
The H23 has 160hp and 151ish trq

The b18b is like a mini h23 almost with no VTEC, 142hp and 125ish trq.

Dont do it, your car will be slower. Just swap in a manual tranny and be happy.

Stick with your h23 or swap a h22 in

b18 will blow nuts in your car. keep the h23 and just slap a turbo on it for the same price as an h22 swap you will be more happy with that than some lil vtec gains. i went back and forth about the h22 or h23 for awhile. you'll be more impressed with the h23 turbo than the h22

the H23 i have now have 180,xxx miles on it ..and it feel like its goin to die soon...guess ill rebuild the h23 and put turbo into it......thanks guys
