Default smog ek asap not passing

i smog my car about 3months ago and i had to referee it and it didnt pass how come? i have to smog it again now for registration and the only thing i have is a stock single cam d16y8 with a aem cold air and header although at the bottom of the car the is a leak from where the header connects and the gasket is falling of could that be a problem? i know i can have someone pass it but its more money so can anyone give me some feedback? the car is a ek 2000

fixing the leak might help, does the intake/header have CARB legal stickers or numbers? These might be your problems.

yeah the header and intake have carb numbers on them but at the referee station they told me that the header carb did not match for the car? could that be it?

The carb eo number has to be for your particular make and model of car including trim level. For instance the edelbrock turbo kit for 96-00 civic ex's will not smog on a dx or cs or lx.
