tranny went out yesterday.. what tranny should i get

Default tranny went out yesterday.. what tranny should i get

right now my car is basically stock with an exhaust (99 si) I'm not sure what tranny i wanna get. I don't know what my future plans are with the car so i don't know wether to get lsd or not. I just wanna know what tranny you recommend; i just wanna a direct bolt on tranny with no mods

LSD is a nice addition if you do more than daily drive the car. If you want the LSD get the C5 tranny. If not stick with the stocker for your application. You've already got the shortest gears for the best accelleration numbers.

98+ jdm itr they have the ultra low 4.7 FD

Not true Ricey. The JDM ITR 4.785 FD tranny is the best tranny for acceleration. ive raced several other B16's and 2 of them had the SIRII tranny and out accelerated them all. top speed of 143 kinda sux but it gets me from point a to point b quick
