Camber Kit Problem!!!!!!!
What camber kits are you guys running on your fifth gen accords? I put a ingalls style kit on my car and it has been nothing but trouble. I hammered the hell outta of the inner fender well/seam. It bottoms out all the time. The camber kit is not adjusted all the way out. I dont see how a company can make a product that works like crap. BTW my car is not slammed, I have ground controls on and its about a inch above the tires. help please..... There has got to be a kit that doesn't have these problems. thanks in advance.
lol, dude welcome to the world of lowered 5th gen accords. I had nothing but problems when I first put my camber kit on and got a alignment, same with all my other friends.
Except I actually took care of the problem once and for all. I took a air dremel/saw and cut that square out that the control arm hits when the camber is correct and you hit a decent size bump. So now when I pop my hood I have a hole on each side of my strut and you can see my A-arm just sitting there. You can just sit in my car and see that the A-arm would hit with just a little tiny bump. Im sure on big bumps that the arm comes up into the engine bay a couple inches. Best thing to do my friend is to sell the kit if you can't get it to clear. You say your not lowered that much which means that your camber probably is not bad enough for a camber kit.
What I would do if I were you is get an alignment with the camber kit off (if you cant get it to clear) and see if you really need one.

I had to take and drill a 3 inch hole in the upper control arm pocket to allow the arm to be moved out and still not hit the fender. then I just made a rubber cap for the hole.
I've got the same problem. I had to raise the car a little to compensate for it. It only hits the wheel well over hard bumps now. Still an annoyance though -_-. As far as drilling a hole through to the engine bay, that's not a bad idea so long as you don't mind seeing the hole's there everytime you open the hood.

That's not his problem. It's REALLY bad on mine too. The actual nut on top of the camber kit bangs up against the top of the wheel well. There is plenty of room at the end of the control arm. I am trying to find a whole UCA that adjusts. No company that is well known has come out with it!

Will cutting holes will ruin the structural integrity of the car since it is a unibody?
Has anyone pounded out the wheel well and had it work?
Has anyone cut out the area where the UCA hits? How long have you driven the car with cutouts?
same here..... the control arm was hitting the "ridge" where the outside fender meets the iner wheel well. i just got a hammer and bent the "ridge" out side and the problem was solved. but the alignment is a must. i ran for less than a week without getting it aligned due to lack of time and i wasted a nice amount of tire.
