Default Quick Dizzy question.

I have a B16 and I want to go obd1... my question is: Can I just buy a dizzy from a D16, or do I have to find like a obd1 del sol dizzy or GSR or something?

My question is: Will D series distributers fit on B series motors?

A d-series distributor won't fit on a B16 motor. I tried it and the bolt pattern is different.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by sol_guy8569 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">A d-series distributor won't fit on a B16 motor. Tell you what, make sure the plug wire order is correct, make sure the timng is set, and go out there and HOLD a d-series dizzy on your b-series and have a buddy crank it over. It WILL start as long as you have the correct dizzy for the obd you are running. After that you can eyeball how it will bolt up...maybe only use two fins?? a bracket?? If I have to I can check to see exactly how my buddy did his if you are wondering.. this is result of no budget honda building..lol
