The first 2005 Acura RSX-S just arrived here at my dealership! This car is bad! Big improvment I think from the 04. If anyone in the Cincinnati area wants to get their hands on one, i sell cars here at Superior Acura so give me a call 829-8500.

what's the difference btw 04 and 05?

 

front, sides, and rear, headlights n tail lights, 10HP, lower suspension, higher redline. stuff like that

 

and + 80lbs.

17" wheels

 

My guess would be that the 10 extra hp isnt really noticable when adding 17" wheels and 80 pounds...?

 

it has the ITR FD too. It might be equivalent if not better.

 

I wish they threw the ITR fd in the previous models. I like the new the design but not as much as my 03. It is about equal I am guessing on power. But it just maybe better we will have to see after someone buys it and takes it to the track.

 

im pretty sure they added a new paint choice too--orange

Orange is a definite for 2005! Haven't seen an '05 yet here at Price Acura.

 

So, if my 03 tranny goes out (let's say from a 3rd gear notchiness), and it's still under warranty, can I get an 05 tranny?

 

Good question. That would be the shiznits if you did.

 

05 tranny would depend on your service advisor, just have a good relationship with them

 

where are the pics??? i want pics . and i think that 10hp will make a big difference w/ the itr fd also.

They changed the blue from Artic Blue Pearl, to Vivid Blue Pearl, the SI blue.

 

yeah and the gas mileage shot down :D why the hell didn't they just throw the lsd in and call it a type r

it says 2004 at the top, but all the pics are 2005, as well as all the new colors.

There's some dirty looking green color as well.

yeah, that green looks kind of nasty..is it the same found on the elements?

Lets loose the aggressive look of the RSX so more older people will like them, WTF
Every car acura has is aimed towars old people aside from the NSX and only old people can afford them.
When the 01 civic came out I couldnt believe how ugly it was then they changed it in 04 and it looks real nice but then they made the RSX look like the 01 civic?
I was gonna buy my first new car next year and it was going to be the RSX since it is the only new car out I really like and I am a die hard honda owner but I just cant take it anymore.
looks like a used RSX for me and a new Truck from nissan.
I assume i am not the only one out there whos money is going elsewere now, I still love honda but it looks like I will never buy anything new from them.

I would think not. Two different part numbers. Acura warranty admistrators wouldn't allow the number change.
