Are camber kits required for lowering springs?
Im looking to get the Eibach pro-kit lowering springs soon. My only question is if I need a camber kit or if I can just get the wheels re-aligned once its installed. Someone told me at this tire place that its required and sometimes I find that hard to believe because they always want more money out of you........
I had the Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my Accord also. I didn't have a camber kit for the front or rear. I think I had about -1 deg camber. The tire did wear slightly uneven (the inside wearing quicker then the outside). It wasn't bad. I had my tires rotated and rebalanced about every other oil change and the tires were fine. The rear tires wear faster but just keep them rotated and you should be fine. If you decide to go much lower than the Pro-Kit springs then you'll probably want to look into camber kits. Cambers kits aren't needed but they wouldn't hurt you either.
