Default Getting my R tomorrow

I'm getting my 98 type R tomorrow. I wanted to know as much about the car as possible. Because I hate when people don't know the info about their cars. It'd be great if I could get information like what the cars runs in the 1/4 mile. How much horsepower it has, torque, compression ratio, displacement etc... Any info would be great. I don't know much because I just got into them. Thanks a lot!

Be sure to remove the gas fillter nozzel from the filler neck before you drive out of the gas station. Release the parking brake (that black bar thingie in between the seats) before you leave your parking space. The driver side sun visor doesn't have a mirror for a reason. Don't be afraid of the shifter, which has numbers on the shift **** instead of "D", "D1", "R", and "P". Oh, and you might have to get somebody to teach you how to use the third pedal, called the clutch. Ejoy

Just playin...

Don't worry if you have a tough time getting it into first evey once in a while, this is normal. Just release the clutch and try again. This made me nerous until i reserched it more, found out it was normal.

Wow, you just got into cars this summer, and you already getting an ITR. I got into cars about 4 years ago, and I just bought my ITR this year. You're one lucky girl.

Yeah, it's not brand new though it's a 98. Oh well! There's not that big of a difference is there? The cars white with 58,000 miles and there asking $16,950.

Just so you know... almost all '00 and '01 ITR guys are jealous of '98 Championship White ITR!

'98 ITR rocks! Great choice. BTW, be sure to get a good alarm system with pager function.

You bunch of PUSSIES...if a new male ITR owner had come on and asked how many liters the ITR had and how many hp it had, he'd get torched and called "Ricer" until he fled to SuperHonda and never came back. Especially since it's a precious CW in the hands of some novice...TypeRgrl16, I assume that you are 16 years old and that this is your first or second car? I wish I had your parents...and don't try to tell me that you work hard to afford your ITR.

It's a shame that there is such a double standard on this board. Is it because we are all a bunch of nerds who welcome the presence of any female? It makes me puke when some little kid with no knowledge of the car gets an ITR just because they think it's cool - no matter if it's a girl or a guy. I really hope you get tired of the car very fast and sell it to a more experienced enthusiast who has lusted after it and memorized all the specs. Sorry all but this is getting a big especially after I see real enthusiasts getting their **** jacked.

Because guys get flamed all the time for asking much better questions...and because it's obvious she just decided one day that she wanted an ITR because they are a pretty popular car among the younger crowd, and her parents said "OK". Not to mention she has no idea what she's driving. TypeRgrl, what set of wheels does the ITR drive with? front, rear, or all? How many cylinders does it have? good god...
