Tall guy in a S2k.
I fit just ok(less the 1/2 inch) with the roof on in a S2k, i'm 6'4" 255lbs.
Is there any headroom to gain with a aftermarket bucket? I noticed the honda seat seems pretty close to the floor to start with.
Thanks for any infos.

Thanks for any infos.</TD></TR></TABLE> Yep, an aftermarket seat with rails will lower seating height by ~3 inches. The stock seat actually sits pretty high.

Yeah it does. Isn't there a way to remove some washers, padding, etc... and lower to stock seat an inch or so?
I am hesitant to put my Mugen seat in, but damn, it would lower me about 3". Makes for one helluva direct feel!

Wow, even more then I expected, I would be ok for my helmet then.
Also, an aftermaket seat should be able to be 1-2 inches further back also hopefully? With an aftermaket spteering wheel and a spacer, it should'nt be too far hopefully.
Not easy being tall, I cant fit/drive properly any of the nice cars since i'm too cramped

yep, the seat will be able to sit further away, depending on the angle of recline you dial into the brackets.

pull apart and modifying the stock seat is too much trouble IMO. While aftermarket seats aren't cheap, neither are the rails, I'd say that's the "better" approach.

it's all fully adjustable in the rails, you can even have it sit higher than stock

HMM, never thought you could make it higher. Id personally like it higher but im afraid if i do it then i cant fit in there with my helmet on. However the top is usually down with the helmet on (cept when it rains)
