Default Leaking coolant from intake mani

I put a d15b into my car, havent started it yet, but im getting a coolant leak from the intake manifold, the leak is coming from the back side facing the firewall, its coming from a bolt, the lower bolt of the two, it is tightened as tight as it can go, what should i do?

why would a bad intake mani gasket cause a leak from a screw in the back side of it to leak, is that possible?

Are you talking about one of the mounting studs with a nut on the end? If so the gasket goes over these and if it has rotted out and cracked it will not seal around the coolant passages and the fluid gets into the cracks and looks for a way out. It found a way out at that bolt location. I would replace the gasket. Also check all the coolant hoses to make sure they are soft and not dry rotted.

are you talking about the IACV on the backside of the manifold near the throttle body? theres special rubber o ring sandwiched in there. probably need to replace that, or seal it up with some liquid gasket.

Is it just leaking a little, or is it just pouring out?

get a new gasket. it could also be leaking out of the water passage on the intake manifold too. thats what happened to me, a lil liquid gasket and alllll better.
