HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

I told you guys, once the power of Zeus was discovered, I've learned how to use the gift to part the skies of rain clouds this weekend.

You're all welcome.

As soon as you cross the I-5 bridge into Oregon, your powers may become diminshed or disappear completely. This is a strange land and you're not Gandolf for god sake...

Don't forget your sunglasses.

What John does not realize is that he has no powers.... he is, how do I put this, cursed, hexxed, thunder struck.... the rain from up here will follow him. He is doooooooooooooooooomed.

He needs to load the car on the trailer backwards with the rain tires mounted to break the string of bad luck

Maybe he should contemplate painting the car too... you know green race cars are bad luck....

I heard if you paint it camo....the rain gods won't be able to find you.

-Jeremy, who thinks it will rain....even though the weather report says it will be sunny.

I second the Camo paint job

Have fun this weekend, and hopefully your powers will be put to rest, now that the season is winding down

I'm glad John is coming and I hope all the NW people can be there rain or shine. STeve is gonna show up late on Saturday and Delamare and Heidager (sp?) are gonna be driving Steve's car. I hope all the Canadian guys make it down as well.

John: don't listen to them about the Camo.. that's a bad idea! You should paint it the same color as the track so the clouds can't see that you're there! Oh wait, I guess that's IS like Camo... ok nevermind.

We are going to do a proper toast with some wine or something in memory of Patrick Flannigan during this weekend in Portland. Not all of us had a chance to make it to Wenatchee to pay our respects and this would be a good avenue to get together and say our goodbye's.

Does anyone have any information on this race? It just says "Cascade Sports Car Club School & Races" on the PIR website...

I want to see John doing a Sun dance or something. Who wants to see John dancing around like a sixties hippie singing "sunshine on my shoulder's makes me F'in Happy". Anyone have a goat or a chicken he can sacrafice? Say enough is enough and put your foot down John, "there will be no more rain races"! Hunt your neighbors yard for 4-leaf clovers (we know there is none in yours). You probably wash it before every race, ya that's it. Don't wash your car.
I myself don't really care, although last PIR races was a bit much.
See you guys there rain or shine.

This should be all the information you need:

Ever since ALMS I have been itching to watch some more road racing

I might come up Sunday to watch and get another taste of what real racing is all about. If my back's feeling better.

Are the majority of you guys running in group 5? 1:30-2:00pm race?

I'll probably show up about noon... any lunch orders?

Just about all of us run Group 2. Some run Group 5 as a second entry, but you'll see everyone run in 2.

Bring cheeseburgers please

Louie...

Hope you can make it up. You're always welcome to hang out in our pits. Bring some jerky and Molson.

Bomber...

Races are on sunday afternoon. In the dry and with the chicane in play, times are 1:34:00+ or so for our ITA/PROD cars. Introduce yourself if you make it up.

Greg

Thats cool. Sunday is most likely out for me, but I will be in that neighborhood on Saturday so we could drop by and watch qualifying and slum around the pits.

The only thing I am worried about is getting hooked on building my car as a road racer I go to ALMS and CART races out at PIR but those don't motivate you that much because they are so far out of your league.

Watching some civics go at it though might make me want to rethink my drag car

Good luck guys

John said Cheeseburgers. Mmmmmmmmm cheeseburgers!
OK, that get's my vote. Thumpu/Bomber: don't be shy, it's nice to meet other H-T peoples, especially at the race track.

Greg are you running in group 2? Would you be EP or FP?

It is sunny here right now, but will it last?

James who has forgotten what it is like to finish a complete race without overheating or having something go wrong.
