Awesome!!! I was looking for a reason to go back to MAM this year.

 

if i can get off of work, i'll probably be there with the miata.

the people organizing it are Spec Miata drivers, so be prepared for lots of us little buggers around.

Jim, Jeff, think you guys might go?

I gotta figure out work, being that this is on a monday. I'll see what I can do.

More like Thur. afternoon...that's a long drive. I don't want to get there at say, 2 am. I'd be dead tired. I also might stay another night afterwards instead of making that long drive back. Last time, I thought I wasn't going to make it.

 

Work is an issue for me. I couldnt' leave before 3pm Thursday at the absolute earliest. I'd definitely stay the night and take my time going home saturday.

Chris - who needs to save 2 vacation days for JGTC in december....

I'll definitely show up to watch/ride along and hang out, but I have no $$ to drive

 

i'm glad i'm only 2.5hrs away. get up at 530, at the track around 8, home by dinner.

If I don't have the crx ready in time for HPT in 2 weeks, I'll absolutely do MAM. If I do race at HPT, then I'll have to wait and play MAM by ear. Word on the street is VISA sent a hitman after me.

i'd love to go to this, but i think I'm running Nashville's NASCAR track/roadcourse that weekend..

newsflash.........HPT is 8 days away. i'm definitely not 100% going to MAM. considering i'm planning on racing there the next weekend, Blackhawk Farms in Illinois the weekend after that, then St. Louis the next weekend, i don't know if the budget can take it.

Already sent an email to Wes asking for the registration info. I'm going, unless something comes up w/class then. That's the first week of class, so it should be ok.

Toss me some info on the blackhawk farms thingy

 

the BHF event is called "The Loooong Race," and is sanctioned by Midwestern Council. there should be info about it on their site http://www.mcscc.org. it is on the weekend of october 16th.

the weather is usually fantastic, entries are usually around 200 cars, and the race is somewhere in the neighborhood of an hour long.

as of right now i'm planning on attending, but nothing is set in stone yet, as it is quite a drive for me.
