can someone tell me whats wrong with my breaks?? most of the time they work fine. but every once and a while it seems like there loose. when i hit the break pedal it goes almost all the way to the floor before the breaks start to slow down the car. then i let go of the break and there back to normal. this doesnt happen often almost like once a day but its pretty scary when you hit the break and noting happens when it should. any one know what this could be, i was thinkin maybe there could be air in the breaking lines or someting?

 

When did you last change the fluid? I would go to a dealer and change it. If that does not help, your master cylinder may be shot.

air in the system or master cylinder. MC should not run you more than $165 (non ABS) from Honda.

 

yes..sounds like master cylinder...you can try bleeding but i doubt it will help..if there was air in the system the pedal would feel soft all the time..

 

its Brakes not BREAKS! ...
