vtec questions
easiest is a d16y8 head onto an a6 block, everything bolts right up. Add a VAFC or fields to control your fuel and vtec.
youll also need a y8 timing belt and reccomend a y8 camgear to you can fine tune.

i've heard that, but i'm still in the 'research' stage, so that was on my list of things to find out about 'beforehand'..
i'm an "ask questions, read, plan, read some more, read even more, know what i'm doing, THEN buy the parts and start the work" kinda guy..
i've got about a grand and a half break in miles since my engine swap, and i've been comparing vtec and boost.. my final decision (between the 2) was that eventually, i want to do both.. vtec is cheaper, easier, and a better place to start, so that's what i'm researching now..
then i read somewhere that a z6/y8 head will bolt onto a D15 block, but not a D16, and it threw me way off.. i thought the only difference between a D15 block and a D16 block was stroke.. so i had to ask the question above..
